RATINGS & CATEGORIES

RATING	DESCRIPTION	CAT.
1.0	Player with no experience and is just starting to play.	C
2.0	Player rallies at a low pace.	C
2.5	Player is consistent at a medium pace, lack of direction.	C
3.0	Player has more confidence, shots at a medium pace.	C
3.5	Player with previous racquet skills fall into this category.	B
4.0	Player has some experience building Padel points, generally consistent.	B
4.5	Player can execute winners and force errors, generally resourceful.	B
5.0	Player has experienced competing at a tournament level.	B
5.5	Top national ranked player, regularly competing at a high tournament level	A
6.0	Semi-professional player ranked outside WPT’s top-250.	A
6.5	Pro player ranked inside WPT’s top-250.	A
7.0	Professional player ranked inside WPT’s top-100.	A

Upon registering with PPA, players are given the optinion to fill in a rating form.

This will generate a rating which will indicated which category is suitable for each player. We want to make sure you "the player" understand this rating is just a reference tool to help you and the organisation.

Ratings are as follows:

Beginner (1.0 to 2.0) = C
Recreational (2.5 to 3.0) = C
Intermediate (3.5 to 4.0) = B
Advanced (4.5 to 5.0) = B
Competition (5.5 to 6.0) = A
Professional (6.5 to 7.0) = A
