Player is consistent at a medium pace, lack of direction.

Player has more confidence, shots at a medium pace.

Player with previous racquet skills fall into this category.

Player has some experience building Padel points, generally consistent.

Player can execute winners and force errors, generally resourceful.

Player has experienced competing at a tournament level.

Top national ranked player, regularly competing at a high tournament level

Semi-professional player ranked outside WPT’s top-250.

Pro player ranked inside WPT’s top-250.

Upon registering with PPA, players are given the optinion to fill in a rating form.

 

This will generate a rating which will indicated which category is suitable for each player. We want to make sure you "the player" understand this rating is just a reference tool to help you and the organisation.

Ratings are as follows:

  • Beginner (1.0 to 2.0) = C
  • Recreational (2.5 to 3.0) = C
  • Intermediate (3.5 to 4.0) = B
  • Advanced (4.5 to 5.0) = B
  • Competition (5.5 to 6.0) = A
  • Professional (6.5 to 7.0) = A
